Elijah Rubvuta is Executive Director of the Foundation for Democratic Process (FODEP) – a Zambian civic NGO involved in electoral advocacy work and election monitoring & observation. He has over 20 years’ experience in the field of elections, electoral support and observation, strategic planning gained through his work with several organizations including the Civil Society Elections Coalition (CSEC), the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa (EISA) and National Democratic Institute (NDI). Elijah has also worked with the United Nations Electoral, Political and Peacekeeping Missions, and served on more than fifteen (15) international and regional electoral observation and expert missions for the African Union (AU), the Commonwealth, EISA, NDI and SADC-ESN. His work has seen him serve in many countries including Afghanistan, Botswana, Burundi, Central African Republic, DRC, Iraq, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Nepal, Nigeria, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
