ORGANISATION BACKGROUND
Action Governance Forum focuses on improving human rights and good governance for effective participation of Women and Youth in decision making processes. The organization is registered under the laws of Zambia. It is operating as Limited by Guarantee under the registration of Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA).
It was registered on 6th September, 2012. Currently it is a member of Non –governmental gender organization’s Coordinating Council (NGOCC) as well as a member of Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR) where it is serving as executive member of Provincial Project Management Team (PPMT).It has a membership of over 4,000 members. And it is serving as National Steering Committee Member for Publish What You Pay as well as a member of Publish What You Pay including being a member of Fight Inequality Alliance (FIA).
Action Governance Forum is also a member of Human rights Defenders for Western Province which is supported by NGOCC under a project called Strengthening Human Rights Protection and Rule of Law.
